A stationary compactor is the mainstay of a waste haulers compactor type. It is a highly efficient unit that services anything from an apartment to an industrial and/or warehouse location. Stationary compactors are offered by Metro Waste in a wide variety of configurations. They come in the basic size of 2, 3 and 4 cubic yard charge boxes and go on up to 11 yard. Your particular application dictates what is best suited for the job.

The receiver container size for the unit is a 40 to 42 cubic yard type on average. Other sizes may be used, depending again on the application. The power requirements for these units are 208/230/460 volt, 3 phase. All we normally need is a 30 amp circuit, in one of these volt supplies, with a disconnect at the location of the unit. A concrete reinforced pad with a minimal dimension of 62x121x301 is required to anchor the unit down.

It would be better if the pad went on out to at least 401. We can also make a wide variety of hopper types that range from the basic open type to side load into to a walk on with hand rails, hopper, locking hatches or enclosed area.
